ZERO… sexism?

Hadde det ikke vært flott med et samfunn med NULL sexisme? Et samfunn hvor du ikke blir sett på som et sexobjekt om du er jente, og hvor begge kjønn behandles og framstilles likt og med like rettigheter. Eller et samfunn med NULL patetisk, poengløs reklame. Et samfunn der du i steden for kjøpepress får tenkepress når du går på gata, venter på at kinofilmen skal starte, eller skrur på tven. Tenkepress i form av tankevekkende budskap og spørsmål som setter igang fantasien og handlekraften i mennesker. Slike budskap kunne for eksempel vært:

Why not societies with ZERO murders?
Why not a world with ZERO poverty?
Why not workplaces with ZERO discrimination?
Why not transportation with ZERO emission?
Why not a time with ZERO wars?
Why not energy with ZERO climate changes?
Why not politicians with ZERO lies?
Why not medicines with ZERO patents?
Why not media with ZERO DRM?
Why not schools with ZERO bullying?
Why not culture with ZERO "all rights reserved" copyrights?
Why not governments with ZERO corruption?
Why not homes with ZERO violence?
Why not a future with ZERO weapons?
Why not minds with ZERO prejudices?
Why not an internet with ZERO spam?

I et slikt samfunn hadde det muligens vært litt flere, litt mere reflekterte mennesker, og det hadde vært et samfunn jeg kunne trives litt bedre i.

Har du forslag til flere spørsmål som godt kunne vært klistret opp på gater og streder i steden for dagens reklameplakater?

PS: Coca Cola, som står bak denne dritt-kampanjen, har tatt seg den frihet å spamme over 40 norske nettfora (derav siste spørsmål på listen min). Som om de har behov for å snike til seg gratis reklame.. [Via teknotum]

Hah, det måtte jo bare være Coca Cola som stod bak den idiotkampanjen. Jeg har irritert meg over de digre plakatene på t-banen de siste par dagene, men har ikke gidda å stikke innom nettstedet de reklamerer for.

(Merker meg forøvrig at et av foraene de har posta på er Kvinneguiden ...! Litt sært med tanke på at produktet er tenkt for machomenn som ikke tør å drikke vanlig light-brus.)

Du hadde ikke blitt noe klokere av å gå innom nettsiden heller. Det er ingenting der utenom en jente i bhen og et felt hvor du blir bedt om å gi dem e-postadressen din. Nye muligheter for spam åpner seg jo med en gang! Jeg hadde ikke ant at det var reklame for et cola-produkt om jeg ikke hadde lest det hos teknotum. Jeg synes det er litt rart at det er lov til å reklamene uten å si noe om hvem det er som står bak budskapet.

Jeg tok ned noen av plakatene fra en t-banevogn i dag og håper på å få tid til å skrive noen av mine alternative budskap på baksiden og henge dem opp igjen.

(Og, ja, veldig rart at de tok seg bryet med å spamme et kvinneforum med en så "mannlig" reklame. Viser vel bare at spammere, uansett hvem de skulle være, bryr seg lite med hvem de rammer, bare de rammer flest mulig.)

toxik: Ja, du har rett i at jeg ikke beskriver veldig grundig hva jeg legger i ordet "sexisme" i denne posten. Men det er fordi jeg skrev den i en bestemt sammenheng; Jeg skrev den mens det var en enorm reklamekampanje Coca Cola Zero i Oslo, en kampanje som, i mine øyne, var veldig sexistisk. Da jeg skrev denne posten tok jeg utgangspunkt i at alle hadde sett den og dermed ville skjønne hva jeg mente. Jeg lever ikke i noen drømmeverden, mener du at man aldri skal si noe uansett hvor idiotisk selskaper/firmaer oppfører seg?
